Tutorial - Installing the Toolbar

The process of downloading and installing the Netcraft Toolbar is quick and simple:

For Internet Explorer:

1. Download the Internet Explorer toolbar. It will open in a new window so you can refer back to this guide.
2. When you see a prompt asking if you want to open the file or save it to your computer, press the "Open" button.
3. The Netcraft Toolbar Setup Wizard will now appear. Follow the on-screen prompts to install the toolbar.
4. The toolbar will automatically attempt to become visible. If this does not happen, simply open Internet Explorer and click the right-hand mouse button over the toolbar area.
5. In the menu that appears, ensure that there is a tick next to the 'Netcraft Toolbar' item. If there is not, click the left-hand mouse button over the item and the toolbar should appear.

Note: If your computer is subject to a corporate security policy, you may have to ask an administrator to install the Netcraft Toolbar.

For Mozilla Firefox:

1. Download the Firefox toolbar. It will open in a new window so you can refer back to this guide.
2. You may see a yellow bar at the top of your screen after clicking the install button:
3. If you see this bar, click the "Allow" button.
4. A "Software Installation" dialog will appear. Click "Install Now", then restart Firefox.
5. Restart Firefox and the Netcraft Toolbar will now be visible.
